NORTHWEST MONTANA’S PREMIERE ROCK BAND
This passionate collective brings a camaraderie to the band that each member has been waiting for.

Rock Vocalist, Lorelei, shares messaging that pulls out the human instinct, delivering genuine performances with her team’s solid instrumentation. She brings tones layered from the 70s & 80s rock projections to heavy vocal effects thrown into the mix. From workmanship based out of Seattle and Denver, her past bands have toured the Western U.S. in the 80s circuit and on into the 90’s. They brought revised rock covers and their originals, gaining radio airplay with No Rest, The Search, & Without Love by Prowler, and Lookin’ Out For #1 by Ictus.
2018…came a regeneration containing a new team, when Lorelei and nephew, Guitarist Andrew Christopher, formed Sunlight Black. From the Seattle area, Andrew is creatively gifted with sound effects, strong riffs, and smooth leads. Guitarist, Matt Cardoza, brings in classic lead guitar stylings, along with deep influences of the 90s and fills that put the final glue on each Sunlight Black song. Brandon Zambrana on bass guitar hails from California with experience in live shows and relocated to Montana in 2008. He plays a Squier Jazz Bass and knows how to keep the groove ready, steady and true. From Iowa to Montana, Drummer Brett Larson is a solid heavy hitter, straight forward guy, and rhythm extraordinaire.

At 19 years old, Matt received a scholarship for Bigfork, Montana’s annual guitar workshop,“Crown of the Continent”, and soon after he formed his first rock band, Ageless. In 2017, Matt attended the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in Burbank, California where he played with Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez of Alice In Chains, Robert and Dean Delao from the Stone Temple Pilots, and also members of Buckcherry and CandleBox.

ANDREW CHRISTOPHER
Andrew Christopher was inspired by the Seattle music scene and started playing guitar at the age of 15. He grew up in Woodinville, Washington where he also enjoyed playing baseball and football as well as horse riding. After attending numerous rock concerts, he started learning basic power chords from a friend and evolved through his college years into an original artist. He worked with Lorelei, and they wrote their first original song when performing with his Montana band, Sunday Buzz.
Currently, Andrew is working as an engineer at SoundStation 108. Sunlight Black values Andrew’s dedication and creativity as a productive guitarist and songwriter!
BRETT LARSON
Brett started playing drums at ten years of age, and picked up guitar during his high school freshman year in Iowa. He continued drumming in his school band, Hourglass, while co-writing songs. Brett recorded and produced the band’s cd’s in his home based recording studio. Playing off and on with various bands and church music ministry groups, he was pleasantly busy throughout and beyond his college years. Over time Brett has added keyboards to his array of music skills, and enjoys the outdoor thrills of camping, hiking, boating, fishing, and skiing, with an eye for landscape photography.
In 2011, he relocated his family to Colorado and then in 2015, to North West Montana. Brett joined his original drum stylings with the Sunlight Black band in 2019 and is combining his production/recording experience as a team member of the SoundStation 108 Studios’ engineers.
